Community-Based Rehabilitation

What are Community-Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS)?

CRBS is one of the key services of Inroads Mental Health. While counseling and medication can be invaluable resources, CBRS allows more personalized and in-home treatment. CBRS occurs simultaneously with counseling when counseling alone has not been effective enough in assisting the client to make progress towards their goals.

CBRS is a Medicaid-sponsored program, in which qualifying individuals receive psychological, social, and life skill-building services. These services are provided in-home and in various community settings where skills can be practiced and applied.

CBRS is not counseling but compliments counseling by helping you learn and apply skills to reduce your symptoms and to function in all the different areas of your life such as with your family, school, work, friends, legal issues, and basic living needs, such as housing, finances, and health issues.
